How to Play
Math Showdown is a fun and flexible maths challenge game suitable for players of all ages.
Objective
Answer maths questions correctly to advance across the board. Each card contains 6 questions of increasing difficulty, colour-coded by level.
Setup
- Use a shared device (phone or tablet) to display the question cards.
- Set up a physical board game (e.g. Snakes and Ladders) with one standard die.
- Each player picks a difficulty level and sticks with it.
- Select a timer before starting (or No Timer to use your own).
Difficulty levels
- 🟩 Level 1 — Ages 5 and under
- 🟨 Level 2 — Years 1 to 4
- 🟧 Level 3 — Years 5 to 8
- 🟥 Level 4 — Years 9 to 12
- 🟪 Level 5 — Advanced high school
- 🟦 Level 6 — Expert / adults
Each turn
- Draw a card. A 3–2–1 countdown appears, then questions are revealed.
- Each player answers only the question matching their level.
- When time's up, click Reveal Answers to check.
- Correct answer → roll the die and move forward that many spaces.
- Click Next Card for the next player's turn.
